About Me
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with a doctorate from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. Subsequently, I completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, ADHD Center. I was an Attending Psychologist at Montefiore Medical Center and Assistant Clinical Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry. At Montefiore MC, I worked in addictions for several years, prior to moving into full time private practice. With a growing interest in group psychotherapy I received Certification as a Group Psychotherapist (CGP), and APA Board Certification in Group Psychotherapy (ABPP). I am a graduate of the Center for Group Studies and have experience leading therapy groups and supervising clinicians for over a decade. I'm Past President and current board member of the Division of Group Psychology and Psychotherapy, of the New York State Psychological Association. Finally, I completed yoga teacher training in 2010 and use this, as well as my ongoing yoga practice to integrate the mind-body connection into the psychotherapy process.
